One persons arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 145, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh against Avnish Sharma R/o # 408, Village Dariya, Chandigarh, who was arrested while roaming in his car without pass permission during lockdown hours near PP-Dariya, Chandigarh on 22.07.2020.  He disobeyed orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Later, he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Sanjay R/o # 62, Village- Dariya, Sandeep @ Gonda R/o # 336, Village-Dariya and Davinder Kumar R/o # 397, Village- Dariya, Chandigarh while they were gambling near Guru Nanak Dharam Kanta, Village-Dariya, Chandigarh on 22.07.2020. Total cash Rs. 11,000/- was recovered from their possession. A case FIR No. 144, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act & 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for forgery

          Chandigarh Police arrested Suraj Pal R/o # 3816, DBC, Sec-25, Chandigarh
(age 36 years) from parking in front of RLA, Sector-17, Chandigarh who used to make fake/forged insurance policies of vehicles. A case FIR No. 135, U/S 420, 468, 472, 474 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Narinder Kumar Bhatia R/o # 3284, Sector-46C, Chandigarh reported  that unknown person stole away complainant’s Honda City Zx car No. CH04C-0227 parked in front of his house on the night intervening 21/22-07-2020. A case FIR No. 145, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to murder

A case FIR No. 109, U/S 307, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sunny Chauhan R/o # 1213, DMC, Chandigarh alleged that Suraj and Chand both R/o # 1172, DMC, Chandigarh attacked on complainant with iron rod near H.No. 1153 & 1154, DMC, Chandigarh on 20.07.2020. Complainant got injuries and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Both alleged persons have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
