One arrested under NDPS Act

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Nrinder Kumar R/o # 2888, Sector-20, Chandigarh, (aged 31 year) and recovered 50 gm heroin from his possession near t-point, Sector 20 B&C, Chandigarh on 12.06.2020. A case FIR No. 54, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Arun Kumar R/o # 3965/1, Sector-56, Chandigarh (aged 32 years) and recovered 26 nips of country made liquor from his possession near Dispensary, Sector 56, Chandigarh on 12.06.2020. A case FIR No. 196, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for consuming liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Kanwar Pal @ Ajay R/o # 2750, Maulijagran complex, Chandigarh while he was consuming liquor at public place on 12.06.2020. A case FIR No. 91, U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for disobeying orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 91, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh against Arun R/o # 1018, Morigate Manimajra, Chandigarh, who was arrested while he opened the Karyana Store,  Shop No. 122, Old Ropar Road, Manimajra, Chandigarh after 8 PM and disobeying the lockdown orders issued by district magistrate on 12.06.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress

MV Theft

Naresh Kumar R/o # 259, Shivalik Enclave, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Maruti car No. CH01AH-4414, from near Govt. school, Manimara, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 89, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

          A lady resident of Chandigarh reported that a person resident of Chandigarh abducted complainant’s daughter aged about 17 years from her residence 10.06.2020. A case FIR No.90 U/S 363, 366 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

Sh. Suresh Kumar R/o # 2032, Vikas Nagar, Maulijagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown driver of car No. CH01AQ-0496, who hit to a motorcycle No. CH01BL-4986, which was driven by Abhishek Pandey R/o # 544, Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh near poultry farm chowk on 10.06.2020. Abhishek Pandey got injuries and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No.125 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Later on accused driver namely Rajat Jain R/o # 611, Vill Kajehri, Chandigarh arrested in this case and released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.
