Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran and PS-49, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 17.03.2020. Later they were released on bail.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 46, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Vikash R/o # 718, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari near SCO No. 80-81, Sector-17, Chandigarh on 17.03.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Lakhwinder Singh R/o # 264, Gali No. 11, Shanti Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Zen car No. CH03-A-8183 parked in front of Parking, Shivalik Garden, Manimajra, Chandigarh on the night intervening 14/15-03-2020. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

P.P Balodi R/o # 413/1 Sector-41/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Swift car No. CH-01BH-2289 parked near Sampark Center, Sector-41, Chandigarh on the night intervening 15/16-03-2020. A case FIR No. 96, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A lady resident of Sector-46, Chandigarh reported that two unknown ladies along with another person stole away complainant’s cash Rs. 10,000/- from her residence on 17-03-2020. A case FIR No. 43, U/S 379, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Cheating

Kuldeep Singh Grewal R/o # 1062, Sector-27/B, Chandigarh alleged that Sourabh Ghoss and others persons R/o HDFC, GK1 Branch, New Delhi cheated Rs. 6,60,75,000/- of complainant and his relatives/friends by fraudulently and illegally transferring unauthorized funds from their accounts on the pretext of making safe and lucrative investments into various companies/entities. A case FIR No. 36, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Maninder Ahuja R/o House No. 780-B, Mona Aero View Apartment, Swastik Vihar, Patiala Road, Zirakpur, Distt. S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali (PB) alleged that Ajay Kumar R/o Shop No. 13, Guru Nanak Market, Badheri, Sector 41, Chandigarh cheated Rs. 11 lakh from complainant regarding providing Kerosene Oil Pump to complainant. A case FIR No. 95, U/S 406, 420, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft/Assault

A case FIR No. 37, U/S 323, 379, 452, 511, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Sector 9, Chandigarh who alleged that two unknown persons tried to stole away parts of Dish Antina from roof of complainant’s house on 17.03.2020. They also attacked on complainant’s husband namely Amit Singh Sethi while he tried to stop them. He got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
