Five arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Five different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-17, IT Park, 49 & 39, Chandigarh against five persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 10.03.2020. Later they were released on bail.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 46, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Deepak Kumar R/o # 403, NIC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari on 10.03.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault on Public Servant

          A case FIR No. 33, U/S 353, 332 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Const. Karnail Singh posted at Traffic Line who alleged that Rakesh Kumar R/o Village Farozepur Bangar, Teh. Kharar Distt. Mohali (PB) quarreled with complainant and deterred him from duty near turn, Sector 10/11, Chandigarh on 10.03.2020. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.

Assault/Quarrel

A case FIR No. 41, U/S 323, 341, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Keshav Dutt, Security Guard at Juvenile Home, Sector-25, Chandigarh who alleged that two boys quarrel & beaten complainant at Juvenile Home, Sector-25, Chandigarh on 08.03.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault/Attempt to murder

A case FIR No. 37, U/S 323, 324, 307 IPC & 75 JJ Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Ramdarbar, Chandigarh who alleged that Rahul R/o # 920, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh attacked on complainant with knife due to which complainant’s granddaughter age about 7 months got stabbing injury on head on 10.03.2020. Injured baby girl admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A lady resident of Melbourne, Australia alleged that maid namely Kamlesh stole away her gold jewelry i.e. 1 gold chain, gold pendant, pearls set, 1 set ear ring while she visited her mother’s house i.e. # 1260, Sector 15B, Chandigarh between 02-03-2020 to 7-03-2020. A case FIR No. 42, U/S 381 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Raj Verma R/o # 547, Sector-22/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away cash Rs. 5000/-, 2 wrist watches, 2 perfume from his residence on 07-03-2020. A case FIR No. 39, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A lady resident of Panchkula (HR) alleged that unknown person cheated away bag containing laptop from complainant’s car near SCO No. 93-94, Sector 17B, Chandigarh on 09.03.2020.  A case FIR No. 38, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Balwant Singh R/o # 1125/2, Sector-40B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Hero Honda Deluxe M/Cycle No. CH04-A-2507 parked near Kissan Mandi, Sector-40, Chandigarh on 04-03-2020. A case FIR No. 86, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajesh Kumar R/o Flat No. 17B/1, Akansha Apartment, Prashant Vihar, Baltana, SAS Nagar, (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Passion PRO M/Cycle No. PB65AH-7606 from Parking near Sabji Mandi, Sector 15, Chandigarh on 24-02-2020. A case FIR No. 40, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
