Three arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Three different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-03, Mauli Jagran & 39, Chandigarh against three persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 05.03.2020. Later they were released on bail.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Pardeep Goyal R/o # 631, Sector-10, Panchkula (HR) and recovered 50 Gram Heroin from his possession near Govt. School, Maloya, Chandigarh 05.03.2020. A case FIR No. 35, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 42, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-IT park, Chandigarh against Lala Jarsawal R/o # 585, Kishangarh, Chandigarh, who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with rehri/fari at Market near Govt. School, Kishangarh, Chandigarh on 05.03.2020. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Dikshit R/o # 117, Sector-77, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away Splendor Pro Motorcycle No. PB65Y-6548 from parking backside Research, Block-A, PGIMER, Sector 12, Chandigarh on 24.01.2020. A case FIR No. 37, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Hardeep Singh R/o # 641, Vikash Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH01BS-3726, from parking of Shivalik Garden, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 07.02.2020. A case FIR No. 33, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Vikash R/o # 2905/3, Sector-49/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Bullet M/Cycle No. HR-18C-7178 parked near his house between 24-02-2020 TO 04-03-2020. A case FIR No. 19, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal Breach of Trust

          A lady resident of PU, Sector 14, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons cheated away gold ring from complainant at her residence on 05.03.2020. A case FIR No. 38, U/S 406 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Proclaimed Offender

A case FIR No. 50, U/S 174A IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh against Raj Kumar R/o # 2104, Sec 24C, Chandigarh who was declared Proclaimed Offender and did not appear before the Hon’ble Court in pursuance of issuance of the proclamation.  Investigation of case is in progress.

Trespassing

          A case FIR No. 81, U/S 341, 448, 453 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of Gurpal Singh R/o # 1256 Sec-37/C, Chandigarh against Karnail Singh @ Karan R/o # 11, Bhandari Mohalla, Batala, Gurdaspur (PB) who illegitimately occupied complainant’s house i.e. # 1256, Sector 37B, Chandigarh.  Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 45, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sunil Kumar R/o # 703/18, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh against unknown driver of Platina M/Cycle No. CH-04E-2502 which hit to Activa Scooter No. CH-01BJ-8048 driven by Dikal S/o Kewal Kirshan R/o 901, Sector 16, Panchkula (HR) near Sheetla Mata Mandir, BDC, Sector 26, Chandigarh on 05.03.2020. He got injured and admitted in GH-16 and later referred to PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
