Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 25.01.2020. Later they were released on bail.

Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady Sector 40, Chandigarh and recovered 10 injections of Buprenorphine and Pheniramine drugs from her possession near Chowk Sector 37/38/40/41, towards slip road Sector 40B, Chandigarh on 25.01.2020. A case FIR No. 26, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Krishna Solanki @ Ashu R/o # 5483, Maloya, Chandigarh and recovered 220 gram charas from his possession near Mandir, Maloya, Chandigarh on 25.01.2020. A case FIR No. 15, U/S 20 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Om Parkash R/o # 512, Janta Colony, Naya Gaon, SAS Nagar, Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Jupiter Scooter No. CH01BF9915 from parking of Lake Club on 25-01-2020. A case FIR No. 07, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 12, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sukhwinder Singh R/o # 3189/3, Sector-44-D, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Fortuner car No. CH01BK7879 which hit to complainant’s Alto K-10 car No. PB52A2662 at light point Sector 43/44 on 20.01.2020. Complainant’s wife namely Sarabjit Kaur got injured and admitted to GH-16, Chandigarh and later referred to PGI, Chandigarh. Later on alleged person namely Ashok Kumar R/o # 3346, Cooperative Society, Sector -51, Chandigarh arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of case is in progress.
