One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 23.01.2020. Later he was released on bail.

Arms Act

A case FIR No. 06, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh against Prabhdeep Singh R/o # 2058, Ph-2, Durgi Urban Estate, Ludhiana, PB and a lady resident of Chandigarh.  One revolver .32 bore has been recovered from Prabhdeep Singh who has been arrested from # 162, Sector 21A, Chandigarh on 23.01.2020. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Anil Kumar Yadav R/o # 635, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01BA6057 parked near SCO, Sector 8/C, Chandigarh on 23-01-2020. A case FIR No. 05, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Rampal R/o # 860, Sector-20/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Swift car No. CH01BL3212 parked near his residence on the night intervening on 22/23-01-2020. A case FIR No. 05, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Area, Chandigarh on 03-01-2020. A case FIR No. 23, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

          Akshay Kumar R/o Village-Kheri , Dalan, Distt. Kurukshetra, (HR) driver of Haryana Roadways Bus No. HR65A-6999 alleged that driver of Auto No. PB65AS0217 namely Kesari Nandan R/o Village-Adda Jhungia Dialpura Sodhian, SAS Nagar Mohali (PB) & other quarrel and beaten complainant at Main road, near Petrol Pump, Sector-35, Chandigarh on 23.01.2020. A case FIR No. 09, U/S 325, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Assault /Attempt to Murder

Aangad R/o # P-1618, Teen Colony, Sector-52, Chandigarh alleged that Raj Kumar @ Mama, Soyam and Neeraj attacked on complainant and his friend namely Sumit R/o # 1649, Teen Colony, Sector-52, Chandigarh with swords at main road near bus stop, Teen Colony, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 23.01.2020. Snatching

A girl resident of Sector-37A, Chandigarh reported that two unknown persons on Kinetic Scooter sped away after snatching complainant’s hand bag containing cash Rs. 1200/-, two ladies suit, document and mobile phone near Market, Sector-37, Chandigarh on 23-01-2020.
