One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh against a person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place  near Dinosaur Park, Sector-49, Chandigarh on 08.01.2020. Later he was released on bail.

One arrested for MV Theft

Jhujhar Singh R/o Village-Jhampur, Distt Mohali, (PB) reported that unknown person stole away Battery from his Tata Ace No. PB65P5108 parked near Service Station, Maloya, Chandigarh on the night intervening 6/7-01-2020. A case FIR No. 05, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later on Sanjay R/o Village-Mam Chand Ka Bada, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

          Deepak Kumar R/o # 879, HBC, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away garments from his Shop No. 12, Dhanas, Chandigarh on 08.01.2020 by breaking the lock. A case FIR No. 04, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Gurdarshan singh R/o # 256, Sector-51, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 02 tyres of Bleno car No. CH01BZ-1166, while parked near his residence on 07.01.2020. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Dowry

A person resident of Village Dariya, Chandigarh alleged that in laws of her daughter harassed complainant’s daughter to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 406, 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Manoj Kumar R/o # 332, Village Burail, Gali No.4, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away his motorcycle No. CH01AH-0401 near State Library, Sector-34, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

          Bablu Kumar vishwas R/o # 29, Village Attawa, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who abducted complainant’s nephew namely Sidharth dass S/o Raj Kumar Dass R/o # Vill Bellar, PS-Mandhoti, Distt. Vardhban, West Bengal aged about 16 years near Bus Stand, Manimajra, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 05, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
