Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Ashutosh Saini R/o # 1420/22, Ph-11, Mohali (PB) Age 28 years and recovered 5.80 Gram Heroin from his possession near T-Point, Gurudwara Sahib, Sector-52, Chandigarh on 07-01-2020. A case FIR No. 02, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of Sector 56, Chandigarh and recovered 22 injections of Buprenorphine & Pheniramine from his possession near Sports Complex, Sector-56, Chandigarh on 07-01-2020. A case FIR No. 07, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rioting/Deterred Public Servant

A case FIR No. 04, U/S 147, 148, 149, 153, 332, 353, 427 IPC has been registered in Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Constable Rajjeet, PCR Wing against  Kati, Koshik, Monu, Billa, Gattu, Nannu, Sunny, Rishab, Harish, Abhishek and other persons who quarreled and deterred PCR staff and damaged Beat Box, DMC, Chandigarh with stones and sticks on 06.01.2020. Later three persons namely Rishab, Abhishek and Harish resident of DMC, Chandigarh have been arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

Bhim Singh, Security Guard at Botanical Garden, Sarangpur (PB) reported that unknown person stole away two batteries from solar street lights on the night intervening 04/05-01-2020. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

Parmod Kumar R/o # 3804, Sector-56, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Passion M/Cycle No. PB-04U-0780 parked near Samrat Hotel, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 03-01-2020. A case FIR No. 07, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Sunil Kumar R/o # 659, Dera Sahib, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Accent car No. CH-03P-3586 parked near Community Center, Govindpura, Mani Majra, Chandigarh between 01-01-2020 TO 03-01-2020. A case FIR No. 04, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A lady resident of Hallo Majra, Chandigarh reported that her daughter age about 14 years has been missing from her residence since 06.01.2020. A case FIR No. 06, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Protection of Children Act 2015

A case FIR No. 01, U/s 79 Juvenile Justice Act 2015 & 374 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ramphal Katharia, Labour Inspector, Chandigarh who reported that a child age 11 years has been rescued under Child labor from # 3279, Sector-35/D, Chandigarh owner name Balwinder Kaur. Investigation of the case is in progress.
