One arrested for Snatching

          Ganga Ram Sharma R/o # 216, Village-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh alleged that a pedestrian boy snatched away complainant’s purse containing cash Rs. 1200/- and documents  near # 135, Village-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh on 04.01.2020. Alleged person was caught by public persons near the spot. Alleged person identified as Sawan R/o # 874, Indira Colony, Sector-17, Panchkula (HR) age 18 years has been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 356, 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          Sanjay Jain R/o # 2235, Sector-21/C, Chandigarh alleged that Gurwinder Singh and other person R/o # 3019, Sector 19, Chandigarh cheated complainant regarding sale of property by assuring complainant that the house in question is free from all encumbrances. They taken Rs. Rs. 2,07,50,000/- from complainant as earnest money and not executing sale deed. A case FIR No. 03, U/S 420, 120B IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Burglary

          Ram Kumar R/o # 45, 4th floor, Ph-2, BDC, Sec-26, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away one hand bag containing cash Rs 25,000/- and documents from his residence on 03.01.2020.  A case FIR No. 07, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Popinder R/o # 1358, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Activa scooter No. CH-01AW-7122 parked near his house on the night intervening 29/30-12-2019. A case FIR No. 04, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident

Harjeet Singh R/o # 104, Village-Belhana, Chandigarh reported that driver of M/Cycle No. HR-03F-0888 namely Yogesh Kumar R/o # 00066, Manakpur Devi Lal, Pinjore (HR) hit to Complainant (pedestrian) near N-Area Road Behlana, Chandigarh on 02.01.2020. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 05, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Alleged person arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 05, U/S 323, 354, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Chandigarh who alleged that her neighbor namely Ram Chander quarreled/beaten/threatened complainant at her residence on 04.01.2020. Alleged person Ram Chander R/o # 2510/1 Sec-38/C, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of case is in progress.
