       One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against 1 person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 02.12.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Action against Gambling

Chandigarh Police arrested Satish R/o # 161, Village Burail, Chandigarh, while playing satta near Janj Ghar, Burail on 02.12.2019. Total cash Rs. 1820/- was recovered from his possession. A case FIR No. 298, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later he was released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 297, U/S 147, 148, 149, 324, 307, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh on the statement of Harjot Singh Sidhu R/o # A-21, Civil Line colony, Bhatinda, PB, against Sehaj Sardana, Devan Sharma, amarjot Khokhar etc, all they beaten/threatened to complainant  near Boom Box café, Sector 9D, Chandigarh on 02.12.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          A case FIR No. 379, U/S 420, 467, 468, 471, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Rajinder Singh, DC Office, Sector-17, Chandigarh against unknown person, who issued fake joining letter for the post of Data Entry Operator in the favour of Mukhtiar Chand.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing

A person resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person who abducted his daughter aged about 16 years from his residence on 30.11.2019. A case FIR No. 205, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
