One arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of Mauli complex, Chandigarh, near turn Shiv Mandir, Manimmajra, Chandigarh and recovered 60 injections Buprenorphine and Pheniramine Meleate from her possession. A case FIR No. 203, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

02 persons arrested for consuming liquor at public places

        A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17, PS-39, Chandigarh against 02 persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 28.11.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Theft

Rajinder Parsad R/o # 2003/14, Sector 32/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away cash Rs. 24500/-, after broken the lock of two booth No. 17 & 23, Sector-35/D, Chandigarh on the night intervening 27/28.11.2019. A case FIR No. 294, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Asim R/o # 192, Sector 21/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away 2 tires with alloy of driver side of Toyota car No. HR31Q6205, near his residence on the night intervening 27/28.11.2019. A case FIR No. 141, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Naresh Kumar Nanda R/o # 1107, Sector-21/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away Iron gutter in his car No. CH01AH1807 from parking area, District court, Sector-43, Chandigarh on 27.11.2019. A case FIR No. 245, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Later on accused namely Gurwinder Singh R/o # 2007/20, Sector-32, Chandigarh arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person abducted/missing complainant’s daughter from his residence on 27.11.2019. A case FIR No. 244, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV theft

          Harshdeep Singh R/o VPO Kamana, Teh Ratia, Distt. Fatehabad (HR), reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Jeep No. PAK-0773, from the parking of Hostel No.1, Punjab University, Chandigarh on 22.11.2019. A case FIR No. 233, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Farhan R/o # 180, Kushan Enclave, Zirakpur, PB, reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s Activa No. PB65G-1237 from PGI on 26.11.2019. A case FIR No. 234, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
