03 persons arrested for consuming liquor at public places

        A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17, PS-26, PS-49 Chandigarh against 03 persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 27.11.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Accident

A case FIR No. 193, U/S 279, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the statement of Constable Anand, Traffic Staff, against unknown driver of unknown white car hit to traffic Barricades of plastic at Sector 25/38 light point and damaged them on 27-11-2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Using Fake registration number

A case FIR No. 194, U/S 473 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh on the complaint of Constable Sunil Kumar, PCR Staff, against Bhajan Lal R/o Village Choti Makori, Distt. Ropar, PB, who was using fake Registration number PB12T-8343 on his motorcycle. Accused arrested in this case.Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

A case FIR No. 292, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl resident of Dhakoli, Zirakpur, reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s bag containing laptop, driving license, debit card, hard disk and cash Rs. 4000/- from her car No. RJ19CD-8213, while parked near stair No.4, Sukhna Lake on 27.11.2019 by breaking the driver side rear glass. Investigation of case is in progress.

Vikram Kapoor R/o # 53, D-Block, Shivalik vihar, Naya Gaon, Mohali reported that Amit and Santosh, who stole away 145 RGB lights with DMX controller, 50 flood lights of LED 15W, 5 Hallonex company of 150Watt, 20 Flood light of LED 150 Watt from Kalagram Kraft Mela on 26.11.2019. A case FIR No. 202, U/S 379, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Maulijagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV theft

          Avneet Katoch R/o # 2126/3, Pipli Wala town, MM, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s M/Cycle No. PB12AB-4108 near his residence. A case FIR No. 202, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-MM, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
