03 persons arrested for consuming liquor at public places

        03 different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-03, PS-17, Chandigarh against 03 persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public places on 25.11.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Accident

A case FIR No. 290, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of Narinderjit Singh R/o # 136, Sector-9-B, Chandigarh against Abansh Singh R/o # 713, Sector-11, Chandigarh.  He hit to complainant car No.CH01BA-0410 with his Land Rover car No. CH01AU0020 at Small Chowk, Sector 10, Chandigarh. None injured. Accused arrested and later released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

          A case FIR No. 366, U/S 420, 511, 467, 471, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Pooja Handa R/o # 1208/1, Sector 43/B, Chandigarh who alleged that Gagan Handa and Sajjan Handa R/o # 1208/1, Sector-43-B, Chandigarh have cheated complainant in the matter of family property. Investigation of case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 367, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Surinder Kumar r/o # 554, Sector 16D, Chandigarh who alleged that Manpreet Singh r/o # Village Bhatauli, SAS Nagar, Mohali, did online fraud of Rs. 3,58, 000/- with complainant from 17.10.2019 to 20.07.2019. Investigation of case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 292, U/S 419, 420, 120-B IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Capt. Satija, Director INS FIN Mart, IMF Pvt Ltd  R/o # 3608, Sector 32, Chandigarh unknown person who cheated complainant for Payment of Rs. 50,000/- through a fraudulent Email. Investigation of case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

          A lady resident of Chandigarh reported that Vikaram @ Guddu and dinesh Ram, Rahul all R/o # 134, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh, who abducted complainant’s daughter aged 16 years from her residence on 13.10.2019. A case FIR No. 288, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

          A lady resident of Sector 45, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away gold ornaments from her residence after breaking the locks on 25.11.2019. A case FIR No. 290, U/S 380, 454 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
