Four arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Chukwnebuku R/o # Gali No. 36, Extension Dwarka, New Delhi, from fire station, Sector-17, Chandigarh and recovered 55.82 Gram heroin from his possession on 07.11.2019. A case FIR No. 341, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Joseph Kames R/o # 15, Jain road Dwarka Mod, New Delhi, from T-point, backside, ISBT-43, Chandigarh and recovered 50 Gram heroin from his possession on 07.11.2019. A case FIR No. 229, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Munish Kumar R/o # 356, Khuda Lahor, Chandigarh, from Sector 39/40-55/56 chowk, Sector-40 side and recovered 20.45 gram heroin on 07.11.2019. A case FIR No. 403, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Five arrested against Gambling

          Chandigarh Police arrested Ashok Kumar, Ramesh Chand, Naresh Kumar, Suresh Kumar and Bajrangi all residence of Chandigarh from Park, Sector-22, Chandigarh, while gambling on 07.11.2019. Total cash Rs. 58200/- was recovered from their possession. A case FIR No. 342, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

                   Jitender Singh R/o # 315, Rella, Sector -12, PKL reported that Shiv Chandan R/o # Village Raghpath Pura, Distt. Gonda(UP), who stolen complainant’s gold chain from # 1009, Sector-24, Chandigarh on 05.11.2019. A case FIR No. 315, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Accused arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Sukhdev Singh R/o # SCO No. 68-70, Sector-17-A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stole away complainant’s AC pipes, CCTV camera, DVR and other items from said SCO.  A case FIR No. 340, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

          Sunil Kumar r/o # 3498, Sector-40-d, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s laptop of Dell Company from counter No. 12, ISBT-43 on 01.10.2019. A case FIR No. 230, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Insult the modesty of a woman

A case FIR No. 282, U/S 509, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl resident of Punjab against Dharampal and 2 other persons, who eve-teased complainant on her phone. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

A case FIR No. 273 U/S 147, 148, 149, 323, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of Manish R/o Rampur Bahal, Dera Bassi, Lalru, Punjab  against Rajinder, Prince, Rock, Laddi and Kakku all resident not known all they Quarreled/beaten with sticks to complainant near Taxi Stand, GMCH-32, Chandigarh on 07.11.2019. Investigation of case is in progress.

Accident

 Rama Shankar Saha R/o # 888, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that Parkash Chand r/o Vill chandoh, Distt. Bilaspur, HP, driver of water canter No. CH01G10148 hit to rehri puller namely Ranjit Saha r/o #888, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh near Tubewell gate, CRPF camp, Hallomajra, Chandigarh on 07.11.2019. A case FIR No. 274 U/S 279, 337, 304-A IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Resultantly Ranjit Saha got injured and lifted to GMCH-32, where duty doctor declared him brought dead.  Investigation of case is in progress.

Brijesh Kumar R/o # 1663, village Burail, Chandigarh reported that unknown driver of motorcycle No. CH49(T)3929 hit to complainant’s Jupiter No. HR03X6589 from near Santoshi Mata Mandir, Sec-49, Chandigarh on 03.11.2019. A case FIR No. 137 U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
