Special Lecture at PU on “Wall Paintings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji”

The Department of Art History and Visual Arts, Panjab University, organized a special lecture by Professor Saroj Rani Eminent Art Historian and Art Critic on the theme of “Wall Paintings of Guru Nanak Dev Ji ” to commemorate the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji here today. She presented a visual show where the audience was left spellbound looking at the beautiful murals and frescos from different guruwras of north India.  Professor Saroj Rani stressed the need to preserve the spectacular wall art and also urged the audience to follow the path of love and equality propounded by the Sikh Guru.
