Snatching

A girl resident of Sector 27, Chandigarh reported that one person namely Neeraj resident of Distt. Mahendergarh, Haryana, snatched away her mobile near Hanuman Mandir, Sector-32, Chandigarh on 11.10.2019. A case FIR No. 255, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Accused arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Deterred public servants while discharging govt. duty

A case FIR No. 320, U/S 332, 353, 147, 149 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of SI Satnam Singh of Chandigarh Police against Nasib Jhakar, Ranjit Mishra, Rakesh, charamjit and Ashwani all resident not known run away after quarrel/beaten and deterred complainant and other police officials, while discharging govt. duty at back side of Neelam Cinema, Sector -17 on 11.10.2019. Two alleged namely Nasib Jhakar and Ranjit Singh have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Chandigarh reported that unknown person has abducted her daughter age about 17 years from her residence on 11.10.2019. A case FIR No. 207, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Vijay Bharti R/o # 239, Hallomajra, Chandigarh, reported that unknown person stole away complainant’s E-rikshaw No. CH01TE-0496 near Sai Baba mandir, Sector -29, Chandigarh on 10.10.2019. A case FIR No. 270, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.
