PU Senate Meeting

As per the directions of Hon’ble Punjab and Haryana High Court, the Senate of Panjab University today considered the Agenda Item C-7 of Senate Meeting dated 22.08.2019, regarding extension in the term of appointment of Dean Student Welfare, Dean Student Welfare (Women) and Associate Dean Student Welfare.

Prof. Raj Kumar, the Vice Chancellor, P.U., stated that, respecting the opinion and sentiments, emotions of the House, and also keeping in mind the best interests of the institution, the following was approved unanimously by the House:

“That the recommendations of the Syndicate that Prof. Emanual Nahar, Dean Student Welfare, Prof. Neena Capalash, Dean Student Welfare (Women) and Prof. Ranjan Kumar, Associate Dean Student Welfare, be given extension in their term of appointment for one more year, i.e.  up to 31.05.2020”.
