Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Lal Singh @ Algu R/o # 1446, Indira Colony, Sector-17, Panchkula (HR) near Railway Road near Shiv Mandir, Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh on 23.09.2019 and recovered 240 capsules Simplex C+ drugs and 640 Capsules Spasmo-Proxyvon Plus drugs from his possession. A case FIR No. 171, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested a lady resident of Maloya Colony, Chandigarh from road near Gwala Colony turn Village-Maloya, Chandigarh on 23.09.2019 and recovered 04 injections of Pheniramine Maleate and 12 injections of Buprenorphine from his possession. A case FIR No. 159, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

A girl resident of Naya Gaon, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that unknown person stole away her Activa Scooter No. CH-01AW-6760 parked near Leisure Valley, Sector-10, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 256, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Shankar Ji Jha R/o # G/18, P.U. Campus Sector-14, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his Activa Scooter No. CH04B-6882 from behind parking Art Block-1&2, P.U., Sec-14, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 192, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

Nitish Kumar R/o Shop No. 1544, Village-Burail, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stole away his bicycle parked near Library Sector-34, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 242, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Village Daria, Chandigarh reported that his wife went to duty at Eden Hospital, Ind. Area but did not returned home. She has been missing/abducted since then 28.08.2019. A case FIR No. 261, U/S 365 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

          A case FIR No. 331, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the complaint of a girl resident of Sector 38, Chandigarh who reported that unknown person on motorcycle snatched away complainant’s mobile phone near Stepping Stone School, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh on 23.09.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.
