“Narwana Gang War” busted by the Crime Branch, Chd.

          “Narwana Gang War” has been busted by the Crime Branch, Chandigarh. Narwana Gang War started in Narwana and continued and specified in Chandigarh resulting in the brutal murder of Tejinder Singh at Sector-17, Chandigarh.         

          A team of Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police led by SI Satwinder Singh under the supervision of Inspector Sher Singh, I/C Crime Branch and close guidance of Sh. Rajeev Kumar Ambasta, DANIPS, DSP Crime got a major success in recent brutal murder case of Police Station, Sector-17, Chandigarh in which a young boy namely Tejinder Singh was killed and Sandeep was grievously injured by gangsters of Boxer Gang in parking, District Court, Sector-17, Chandigarh, due to old enmity. The team succeeded in arresting three accused persons with main gangster Vikas @ Boxer in this case. The detail of same are as:-

1.       Vikas @ Boxer

2.       Gurmert Singh @ Dhakalia

3.       Amit @ Amit Growar  

Brief fact of the case are as under:-

                   This case was registered on the statement of Sh. Rohit Kumar s/o Sh. Surta Ram r/o H.No.76, New Sunny Enclave, Sector-124, Mohali, Punjab. He stated that he is an Editor of Insaaf Express and The Mid land News. On 04.09.2019, he came to Sector-17, Chandigarh at about 3.00 PM, when he reached near parking District Court, Sector-17, Chandigarh by his car No.PB65-AP-7678. He heard sound of gun shots and he de-boarded from his car and saw that 3/4 boys coming towards him. He tried to catch one of them but the said boy take him on gun point and they all fled away from there in an auto rickshaw towards Bus Stand Chowk, Sector-17. He has also tried to follow them by his car but in the meantime, some unknown person told him to take the injured boy to hospital, when he reached near injured boy, PCR vehicle came there and shifted the injured to hospital. Meanwhile, other police officers also reached there and he came to know that one more boy also got injured during gun shots. He later came to know that the name of deceased is Tejinder Singh and the name of injured boy is Sandeep who is undergoing treatment in Trauma Centre, PGI, Chandigarh. In the matter, a case FIR No. 272 dated 04.09.2019 u/s 307, 304, 34 added 302 IPC & 27 of Arms Act, 1959, was registered in Police Station, Sector-17, Chandigarh.

Apprehension of accused:-

                   In this matter, senior officers of Crime Branch constituted a team  of SI Satvinder Singh under the supervision of Inspector Sher Singh for cracking the case and arresting the fled gangsters as soon as possible. SI Satvinder Singh was informed on initial information, multiple raids were carried out in Haryana,  Rajasthan and Delhi by the team . Some vital information about movement of accused persons was generated through these raids and it came to the notice of the Crime Branch team that  Vikas Boxer is roaming with his accomplices Gurmeet Dhakal and Amit Grover in the near by areas of Panchkula and Chandigarh. They shall come in Mani Majra area for meeting some friends and for collecting money, if a naka is laid, near Shivalik Garden, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, they can be apprehended. On this secret information, a trap was laid by SI Satwinder Singh, Crime Branch alongwith his team’s officials and above said accused persons nabbed near Shivalik Garden, Mani Majra, Chandigarh and later-on arrested in the case FIR No. 272 dated 04.09.2019 u/s 307, 304, 34 added 302 IPC & 27 of Arms Act, 1959, PS-17, Chandigarh.

During the apprehension, a .32 Bore Pistol also got recovered from the possession of accused Vikas Boxer which was used in the murder of deceased Tejinder Singh. Further, interrogation is on.

Profile of accused persons:- 

1.       Vikas @ Boxer s/o Sh. Manjit Singh r/o Mohalla Badsi Patti (Mor     Patti), Ward No. 3, Narwana, PS-City Narwana, District-Jind, Haryana, age-20 yrs is a college dropout and also previously involved in criminal activities and also made a gang by name of Boxer especially in the area of Narwana, Jind, Haryana. The detail of criminal cases stands registered against him is as:-

1.	Case FIR No.199 dated 14.08.2019 u/s 302, 379, 120-B IPC & 25-54-59 Arms Act, PS-Sadar Narwana, District-Jind, Haryana (No arrest).
2.	Case FIR No.88 dated 07.04.2017 u/s 307, 34 IPC, PS-City Narwana, District-Jind, Haryana (arrested and case is under trial).
3.	Case FIR No.243 dated 11.09.2017 u/s 25-54-59 Arms Act, PS-City Narwana, Jind, Haryana (arrested and case is under trial).   HE IS WANTED IN A MURDER CASE BY HARYANA POLICE.

Profile of accused persons:- 

2.       Gurmert Singh @ Dhakalia s/o Randhir r/o Village-Dhakal, PS-Sadar    Narwana, District-Jind, Haryana, age-19 yrs is a college dropout from B.Com 2^nd year and  is an active member of Boxer Gang. The detail of criminal cases stands registered against him is as:-

1.	Case FIR No.117 dated 31.05.2019 u/s 147, 149, 323, 341, 506 IPC, PS-Sadar Narwana, District-Jind, Haryana (arrest and under trial).
2.	Case FIR No.114 dated 08.08.2019 u/s 147, 149, 324, 307, 506 IPC, PS-Gadi, District-Jind, Haryana (no arrest).   HE IS WANTED IN AN ATTEMPT FOR MURDER & RIOTING CASE BY HARYANA POLICE.

Profile of accused persons:- 

3.       Amit @ Amit Growar s/o Ramniwas r/o Gali No.4, Bhagat Singh    Colony Canal Road, near SD School, Narwana, PS-City Narwana, District-Jind, Haryana, age-18 ½ yrs is also an active member of Boxer Gang and he circulated the videos of this gang in order to take fame. The detail of criminal cases stands registered against him is as:-

1.	Case FIR No.117 dated 31.05.2019 u/s 147, 149, 323, 341, 506 IPC, PS-Sadar Narwana, District-Jind, Haryana (arrest and under trial).   HE IS ON BAIL IN A ROITING CASE.

Reason of enmity:

                   Complainant party as well as accused party both are involved in student politics and involved in verbal spat many times, which dragged them at the stage of killing each other. In the month of April, 2019, Mohit Mor, the brother of accused Vikas Boxer was brutally murdered by Dumerkha Group, which is associated with deceased Tejinder Singh who was one of the leaders of this group. After the death of his brother Mohit Mor, Vikas Boxer and his gang members took an oath for revenge and following this rivalry, two boys were also murdered in Narwana by Boxer gang on 14^th August, 2019 and leading this, Vikas Boxer and his gang members meticulously planned and executed the murder of Tejinder Singh @ Malli for fulfil their revenge.

Sequence of events revealed during the interrogation.

                   From their sources, the Boxer gang, came to know that Tejinder Singh @ Malli was living in Chandigarh whom they consider one of the accused of murder of Mohit Mor. For this, one of their friend Upkar collected information about the deceased and surveillanced him. On 04.09.2019, as the deceased was going to meet someone, the accused party intercepted him killed him and escaped from the spot.  

                   The accused shall be produced in the court tomorrow. The investigation of this case is being carried out.
