One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place near Stadium, New Indira Colony, MM, Chandigarh on 07.09.2019. Later he was released on bail.

Dowry

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Sector 41, Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 110, U/S 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

A lady resident of Chandigarh alleged that her husband & others resident of Dhanas, Chandigarh harassed complainant to bring more dowry. A case FIR No. 111, U/S 498-A IPC has been registered in PS-Women, Chandigarh. Investigation of case is in progress.

Theft

A girl resident of Sector 21, Chandigarh reported that unknown person ran away after stealing cash Rs. 5000/- from her purse at his residence on night intervening 11/12-09-2019. A case FIR No. 112, U/S 380, 509 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Shailendra Vikrant R/o # 194, Saketri Road, Kishangarh, Chandigarh alleged that Vineet Kumar R/o # 145, Village Kishangarh, Chandigarh working as helper in complainant’s CSPL Trading Company has taken cash payments from customers and submitted signed bills as credit sales of customers by putting fake signatures. A case FIR No. 204, U/S 409, 467, 468, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 188, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Prithvipal Singh R/o # 621, Sector-16/D, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. CH-01BU-8708 namely Ranvir Singh R/o # 1136, Sector-40/B, Chandigarh hit to complainant’s Activa Scooter No. CH-01BK-9051 at Chowk, Sector 36/37/41/42, Chandigarh on 11.09.2019. Complainant got injured admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
