Chandigarh Police nabbed one with illegal drugs

On 11.09.2019, Chandigarh Police achieved a major success when police team of Police Station Sector-39, Chandigarh arrested one Sarwar Khan and recovered 50 injections out of which, 25 Injections of Pheniramine Melate 10 ML each & 25 injections of Buprenorphine 2 ML each without Permit/Licence.

MODUS OPEREDI  :

During interrogation, it emerged that the accused committed the crime to fulfill his needs of drugs as he is habitual drug addict and whenever he need drug, he used to do petty crime. The following case has been registered against him.

FIR No. 304 dated 11.09.2019 U/S 22 NDPS Act, PS-39, Chandigarh.

Brief Facts :  ASI Parminder Singh No. 1070/CHG Police Station Sector-39, Chandigarh reported that on 11.09.2019 at about 6.00 PM, while he along with Police Party were on patrolling duty Near T-point, Dividing Road, Sector-39 C/D, Chandigarh in view of curve the theft and snatching incidents in the city, he nabbed one Sarwar Khan S/o Late Salim Khan R/o #13, Govt. Toilet, Near Mandir, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh, Age-36 years.   While he was carrying 50 injections out of which, 25 Injections of Pheniramine Melate 10 ML each & 25 injections of Buprenorphine 2 ML each without Permit/Licence.  Accused arrested on the spot

Accused Profile :

Sarwar Khan S/o Late Salim Khan, Age-36 Years, Address-#13, Near Mandir, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh, Qualification-Illiterate, Occupation-Carpenter, Marital Status-Unmarried.  Family– 2 Male Brother & 3 Sisters, Habit-Drug Addict.

• FIR No. 78 dated 28.02.2005 U/s 379 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh and one Cycle recovered.
• FIR No. 47 dated 16.02.2007 U/s 379, 411 IPC, PS-39, Chandigarh and 30 Kgs Reliance Wire recovered.
• FIR No. 96 dated 26.03.2007 dated 379, 411 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh an done Stereo & Battery make JVC Amaron recovered.
• FIR No. 354 dated 07.07.2013 U/s 379 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh and one Motor Cycle No. CH-03-M-6954 recovered.
• FIR No. 404 dated 05.08.2013 U/s 379, 511 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh and Internet Box recovered.
