One person arrested under NDPS Act

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Christropher Ikechukwa S/o Apch R/o Gali No. 9 Rama park, Dwarka Mor, New Delhi, (Permanent Address: Adani Nsuka, State Enuga, Nigeria) Age 40 Yrs, near light point, Village Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh and recovered 102 gm Powder Ephedrine pseudoephedrine (narcotic substance) from his possession on 28.08.2019. A case FIR No. 155, U/S 25A NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Maya Ram R/o # 213/1 Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 24 quarters of country wine carried in Auto No. CH01TB-2328 near TPT parking, Sector 26, Chandigarh on 28.08.2019. A case FIR No. 203, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Trespassing at Burial place

A case FIR No. 172, U/S 297 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ravi Verma R/o # 355, Village-Kaimbwala, Chandigarh against Ishwar R/o Village Rajoda, Distt. Kaithal (HR). Complainant reported that funeral ashes of complainant’s mother have been stolen from Locker No. 9, Cremation Ground, Sector 25, Chandigarh on 23.08.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 229, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Mukesh Kumar R/o # 1601, Tower-4-A, Suncity, Sector-20, Panchkula (HR) who alleged that Vijender Kumar and his wife both R/o # 876, Sector 12A, Panchkula (HR) and Irfan Khan R/o Sector 21, Village Maheshpur, Panchkula (HR) all inconvenience with each other cheated Rs. 2.77 Crore from complainant regarding giving share in petrol pump at MDC, Panchkula (HR). Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Charan Preet Singh R/o # 259 Village-Khudda Ali Sher, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Motor Cycle No. CH-01AF-6197, parked near DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh on 21.08.2019. A case FIR No. 235, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
