Counselling for Admission to M.A. (Education)

Korel, Chandigarh August 27, 2019

            On the spot counselling for Admission to M.A. (Education) Semester-1^st Session 2019-20 will be held on  28^th August, 2019 time 10.00 am to 2.00 pm  in the Library, Department of Education, Ground Floor, Arts Block-II, Panjab University, Chandigarh.  All interested candidates  are required to appear in person along with  all original documents and a set of photocopy of certificates listed below:

1. Metric/High School Certificate with Date of Birth (DOB)
2. B.A. Mark sheets of all semesters.
3. Character Certificate from Institution last attended.
4. Weightages claim certificate (if any)
5. Gap year affidavit (in case of gap).
6. ELIGIBILITY: For Indian Nationals: Passed one of the following examinations from a recognized University:

• B.A. with (Hons) in Education obtaining 50% marks in  aggregate.
  (OR)
  B.Sc. (Hons.) School.
  (OR)
  (iii)A Bachelor’s degree obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject/course of Education or 50% marks in aggregat

Provided that:–Bachelor’s degree in any stream with 50% marks and B.Ed. from any recognized Indian University.

Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks having studied at least one of these subjects viz. Education/Philosophy/ Psychology/ Sociology/ Public Ad-ministration / History / Economics / Geography/Political Science/Anthropology

(iv) Master’s degree in any other subject

B)For Foreign Nationals: 50% marks or equivalent grade in graduate degree/equivalent degree in any discipline from Foreign University having certified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

If no gap but done any other course then bring evidence (for example, appeared for Post Graduate course, bring DMC/Roll no./ Character Certificate).
