One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Vijay R/o # 2899, DMC, Chandigarh, while he was illegally possessing 12 bottles of country liqour near Govt. School, Sector-38-West on 21.08.2019. A case FIR No. 140, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against obstructing public way

A case FIR No. 261, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Neeraj Kumar R/o # 67-A, Attawa, Sector-42, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with Auto No. HR-68B-1154 near Kiran Cinema Sector- 22, Chandigarh on 21.08.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 262, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Chander Dev Sharma R/o Nursery, DMC, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with Auto No. PH65AB-2771 near Kiran Cinema Sector- 22, Chandigarh on 21.08.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 263, U/S 283 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Chhote Lal R/o #197, Sector-21-A, Chandigarh who was arrested while he was obstructing public way with Auto No. CH01TB6945 near Kiran Cinema Sector- 22, Chandigarh on 21.08.2019. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 166, U/S 318 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh against unknown person who thrown a fetus near Mortuary, PGI on 21.08.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Village Burail, Chandigarh reported that his daughter aged about 14 years has been missing from residence since 18.08.2019. A case FIR No. 213, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 172, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Ajay Singh Anand R/o # 29, village Makhanmajra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. PB01A-5088 hit to complainant’s auto No. CH111(T)4448 at Sector 51/52 light point on 21.08.2019. Three passengers of auto namely Dharmender R/o Ram complex, Sector-88, Mohali, (PB) age 27 years, his wife Noor jhan and daughter namely Baby age 9 months all got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 190, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Chaman Lal R/o # 21/1, Samadhi Gate, Manimajra, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Activa Scooter No. CH01BD-6321 namely Harish Sharma R/o # 2531/2, Indira Colony, Manimajra, Chandigarh was driving his vehicle rashly and negligently due to which complainant fell down from motorcycle No.HP23B-5391 and other two persons riders of Activa Scooter No. PB70D3400 namely Rakesh and Motor Cycle No. HR43A6489 namely Pupesh also fell down near Sant Kabir light point on 21.08.2018. They got injuries and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh for treatment.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

Ramesh Kumar Shukla, J.E., Public Health Store, Timber Market, Sector 26, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away Brass items Stop Cock 1/2” –1900 NOS, Brass Stop Cock 3/4” 281 NOS, C.P Shower With Arm 24 NOS, C.P Stop Cock Consealed 249 NOS, C.P Stop Cock 1/2” 15 MM 2437 NOS, CP Swan neck Tap Two Way 306 NOS, G.M Peet Valve 3/4” 173 NOS, G.M Peet Valve 1” 45 NOS, from said store between 18.07.2019 to 19.08.2019. A case FIR No. 191, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Mahesh Ram R/o # 489B, EWS, Dhanas, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Auto No. CH111(T)3561 parked near his residence on the night intervening 20/21.08.2019. A case FIR No. 121, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
