Two persons arrested under NDPS Act

Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested Harinder @ Machi R/o # 324, Khera Chowk, Hallo Majra, Chandigarh near Slip Road, Ambala Chd Road, Deep Complex, Hallo Majra and recovered 1500 capsules of Tramadol Hydrochloride Dicyclamine Hydrochloride Acetaminophen drugs from his possession on 20.08.2.019. A case FIR No. 223, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Vikash R/o # 2598, DBC, Sector 25, Chandigarh age 23 years near turn Satsang Bhawan, Maloya, Chandigarh and recovered 10 gram heroin/smack from his possession on 20.08.2019. A case FIR No. 139, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for applying fake registration number

Chandigarh Police arrested Sumit Panwar R/o # 452/19, Preet Vihar, Sonipat, (HR) (Age 29 years) near Gate No. 4, Police Colony, Sector-26, Chandigarh while he was using fake Registration number CH01AS7070 on his i20 car whereas original Number of car is CH20(T)5831. In this regard, a case FIR No. 189, U/S 473 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Narinder Sharma R/o # 1611, Sector-35/B, Chandigarh reported that someone has stolen away his Maruti Esteem car No. PB10AU4527 from back side Civil Secretariat, Sector-1, Chandigarh on 20.08.2019. Sony Video camera accessories, documents of car & ID card were lying in the car. A case FIR No. 230, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Lavish Malik R/o # 2118/20, Block-16, Sector-63, Chandigarh reported that someone has stolen away his M/Cycle No. PB65 AU 0538 from parking of his house. A case FIR No. 104, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Khudda Lahora, UT, Chandigarh reported that his son aged about 17 years has been missing from his residence since 20.08.2019. A case FIR No. 120, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 259, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Prince R/o # 2118, Sector-41, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. PB11BM0150 namely Sahaj Jaggi hit to complainant’s Motor Cycle No. CH01AW8890 at dividing road, Sector 17/22, Chandigarh on night intervening 15/16-08-2019. Complainant was got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
