          A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against a person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 15.08.2019. Later he was released on bail.

Theft

Radha Gupta R/o # 3336/2, Sector-40D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away locker containing cash Rs. 1.5 lakh, golden jewelry 50 grams, silver jewelry 10 grams, 3 wrist watches & passport from complainant’s house and also committed theft at H. No. 3336/1 owner name Sh. BP Arora (Stolen article: Silver article 15-20 Gm) and H. No. 3667/2 owner name Naresh Pawar (Stolen article: silver jewelry 10-15 gm one wrist watch on 15.08.2019. A case FIR No. 280, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sadanand Chouhan R/o Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Sector-38-A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s bicycle from outside of Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Sector-38-A, Chandigarh on 15.08.2019. A case FIR No. 279, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
