Chandigarh Police arrested Atul R/o # 2651, DMC, Chandigarh near Shahpur Light Point and recovered 22 Injections of drugs from his possession on 12.08.2.019. A case FIR No. 128, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested while consuming liquor at public place

         A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 12.08.2019. Later he was released on bail.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 186, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh against Harmanpreet Singh R/o # 3445, Sector 27D, Chandigarh, who rented out his 2^nd floor of his house but he did not given information of tenant to the local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 151, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh against Karma R/o # 2518, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh, who rented out H.No. 1546, Vikas Nagar, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh but he did not given information of tenant to the local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

MV Theft

Anil Kumar R/o # 988, Ph-1, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01AN-6147 parked near Booth No. 35, Ph-2, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh on 10.08.2019. A case FIR No. 220 U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arpit Chugh R/o # 2175, Sector-35C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. PB30F-9460 parked at residential parking of Sector-41D, Chandigarh on night intervening 11/12-08-2019. A case FIR No. 277, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
