Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-Manimajra Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 19.07.2019. Later they were released on bail.

Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Ajay Kishori R/o # 1685 near Civil Hospital, Habib Ganj, Distt.- Ludhiana, Punjab from near Batra Cinema, Sector- 37, Chandigarh and recovered 14 injections of drugs from his possession on 19.07.2019. A case FIR No. 222, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Rohit R/o # 2343, DMC, Chandigarh from near Tikona Park, DMC, Chandigarh and recovered 05 gram heroine/smack from his possession on 19.07.2019. A case FIR No. 101, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

          Chandigarh Police arrested Hardev Singh R/o # 101, Village- Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh while he was illegally possessing 46 quarters of country made liquor from near Gurudwara, Village- Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh on 19.07.2019. A case FIR No. 132, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Later he was bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 160, U/S 279, 337 IPC & 177, 129 MV Act has been registered in PS-I.T. Park, Chandigarh on the statement of HC. Naresh Kumar, Traffic staff against driver of motor cycle No. CH-01BD-4279 who sped away after hitting to complainant’s Govt. motor cycle No. CH-01GA-6087 near Shastri Nagar Light Point, Chandigarh on 16.07.2019. Complainant’s got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A lady resident of village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that her sister-in-law age about 17 years has been missing/abducted from her residence since 18.07.2019. A case FIR No. 133, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 143, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh against Manoj Kumar R/o # 3537, Sector- 15, Chandigarh who rent out his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 226, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Deepak Kumar R/o # 2316, Sector- 22, Chandigarh who rent out top floor of his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 98, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh against Dilbagh Singh R/o # 35, village- Dhanas, Chandigarh who rent out his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 99, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh against Shesh Raj R/o # 372, Milk Colony, Dhanas, Chandigarh who rent out his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 188, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Indst. Area, Chandigarh against Satnam Singh R/o # 1682/2, Sector- 30/B, Chandigarh who rent out his house without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out.

A case FIR No. 117, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh against Anil Kumar R/o # 1013, Sector-07, Distt.- Panchkula, Haryana who rent out his house  No. 187/1, New Darshani Bagh, Manimajra, Chandigarh without any intimation to local Police. Accused arrested and later bailed out. 

MV Theft

A lady resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s activa scooter No. CH-01AB-1953 while parked in front of her residence on 10.05.2019. A case FIR No. 116, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Manimajra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector- 47/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s car No. CH-01W-9141 while parked in front of her residence during night intervening 01/02.07.2019. A case FIR No. 205, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Abhishek Chhibbar R/o # 2013, Sector- 66, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s activa scooter No. CH-03Z-3962 while parked in front of SCO No. 107-108, Sector- 43/B, Chandigarh on 10.04.2019. A case FIR No. 157, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Kuldeep Singh R/o # 3447/B, Sector- 24/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-01BK-2295 while parked near park, Sector- 39, Chandigarh on 19.07.2019. A case FIR No. 221, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39 Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
