One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          A case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS- Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 10.07.2019. Later he was released on bail.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Arshdeep kaur R/o # 274, Sector-41, Village- Badheri, Chandigarh from near Sector 39 A/B dividing road and recovered 50 injections of drugs from her possession on 10.07.2019. A case FIR No. 209, U/S 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for MV Theft

Vishal Singh R/o # 1678, Sector- 22/B, Chandigarh (permanent address- # 86, Hanuman Path, Sironj, Vidisha, Madhya Pardesh) reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. MP-04QD-4023 while parked near his house on 09-07-2019. A case FIR No. 214, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Later one person namely Baljinder R/o village- Bhago Majra, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Two arrested for Theft

Bhupinder Singh R/o # 1507, J/9, Ranjit Nagar, Kharar, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab (care taker) alleged that Ashu Rawat R/o # 1097, Sector- 7, Chandigarh and Shubham R/o # 246, Sector- 9, Chandigarh were caught on the spot by complainant while they were stealing 02 water taps from bathroom of Shri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector- 26, Chandigarh on 10.07.2019. A case FIR No. 152, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Both persons namely Ashu Rawat (age- 21 yrs) and Shubham (age-23 yrs) have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for Cheating

Sunder Lal R/o # 1282, DMC, Chandigarh alleged that Kailash R/o # 2501, Sector 28, Chandigarh cheated complainant Rs. 2,00,000/- (1 lakh in May 2017 & 1 lakh in April, 2018) on the pretext of providing job of peon in high court. But neither he provided job and nor returned his money. A case FIR No. 92, U/S 420 IPC has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Alleged person namely Kailash has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Criminal breach of trust

Vipin Verma, Salesman, Mahindra Jewelers, Garage No. 2, Sector 22D, Chandigarh reported that one unknown lady came to his shop and selected one gold ring on 03.07.2019. She asked to show the said ring to her mother sitting in a car parked outside the shop. She took away said ring in Alto car and sped away from spot. A case FIR No. 215, U/S 406, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A lady resident of village- Khuda Lahora, Chandigarh reported that his daughter age about 15 years has been missing from her residence since 09.07.2019. A case FIR No. 95, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Gurmail R/o # 973, Sector- 25, DBC, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-01BF-5159 while parked near his residence on night intervening 09/10.07.2019. A case FIR No. 132, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Shivam Kumar R/o # 1119/5, Gobind Pura, Mani Majra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH-01X-1070 parked near Elante Mall Parking, Chandigarh on 04.07.2019. A case FIR No. 170, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector- 25, Distt.- Panchkula, Haryana reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s activa scooter No. CH-01BF-8683 while parked near SCO No. 815, NAC, Mani Majra, Chandigarh on 26.06.2019. A case FIR No. 107, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Mani Majra, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arun Kumar R/o # T-24/F, Railway Colony, Village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-04A-1445 while parked near his residence on night intervening 06/07.07.2019. A case FIR No. 121, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Inderjeet Singh R/o village- Hathan, Malerkotla, Distt.- Sangrur, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. PB-28E-6824 while parked near # 2555, Sector- 40/C, Chandigarh on night intervening 28/29.07.2019. A case FIR No. 202, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

 Amit Gulati R/o # 2309, Sector- 38/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown boy aged about 24 years stolen away cloths (Than) worth Rs. 15,000/- from complainant’s showroom Gulati Selections, SCO No. 76, Sector- 38, Chandigarh on 10.07.2019. A case FIR No. 205, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Rahul Rawat R/o # 1580, Phase-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh reported that 02 unknown persons occupant of M/Cycle sped away after snatched mobile phone from complainant’s at slip road, near Saini motor shop, Village- Hallo Majra, Chandigarh on 09.07.2019. A case FIR No. 196, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector- 39, Chandigarh reported that 02 unknown persons occupant of M/Cycle sped away after snatched mobile phone from complainant’s grandson namely Kanish (age-6 yrs) from park Sector-39/C, Chandigarh on 10.07.2019. A case FIR No. 204, U/S 379, 356 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

Sher Singh R/o Village-Gurudwara Sahib, Village-Kansal, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab alleged that Jagdev Singh R/o Defense Colony, Distt.- Ambala, Haryana, Angrej Singh and Jaswinder Singh beaten complainant and other parking staff at multi level parking, Punjab & Haryana High Court, Chandigarh on 10.07.2019. A case FIR No. 194, U/S 323, 341 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Later on one person namely Jagdev Singh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Shamshad R/o Jhuggian near Plot No. 14, TPT Area, Sector- 26, Chandigarh alleged that 2/3 unknown boys beaten & stabbed complainant’s brother namely Naushad with sharp weapon near Lambu Dhaba, TPT Area, Sector- 26, Chandigarh on 09.07.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 151, U/S 324, 323, 341, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
