Action against Gambling/Satta

          Chandigarh Police arrested Chaman Lal R/o # 282, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh while he was gambling at Fish market, Shastri Nagar, Manimajra, Chandigarh on 20.06.2019. Total cash Rs. 1,240/- was recovered from his possession. In this regard, a case FIR No. 130, U/S 13A-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Quarrel/Assault

       Prem Lal Rai R/o # 446, Village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh alleged that Ibo and Kancha stabbed complainant in his stomach with knife near wooden bridge, Village- Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh on 20.06.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMCH-32, Chandigarh. In this regard, a case FIR No. 107, U/S 308, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Rohit Thakur R/o # 541, Gate No.1, Vikas Nagar, Naya Gaon, Distt- Mohali, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Maruti 800 car No. CH-01Q-0926 from backside parking of Civil Hospital, Sector- 22, Chandigarh on night intervening 13/14.06.2019. A case FIR No. 182, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS- 17 Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

          A case FIR No. 179, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh on the statement of Swaran Singh R/o # 2416, Sector- 24/C, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. CH-01P-5298 who sped away after hitting to complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-01AH-5560 at market, Sector- 37, Chandigarh  on 16.06.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
