Two arrested under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Ram @ Ramu R/o # 63, Sector- 41/B, Chandigarh from near Rotary Sarai turn, Madhya Marg, PGI, Chandigarh and recovered 18 gram heroin from his possession on 17.05.2019. A case FIR No. 81 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Chandigarh Police arrested Sandeep Sharma R/o # 2134, Sector- 40/C, Chandigarh from turn backdside Punjab Kesari Office, Sector-25, Chandigarh and recovered 20 gram heroin from his possession on 17.05.2019. A case FIR No. 82 U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Amit Bhatiya R/o SCF No. 5, Sector- 19, Chandigarh reported that 02 unknown persons stolen away battery from Complainant’s Thar Jeep No. CH-01BJ-6060 while parked while parked at parking of Elante Mall, Phase-1, Ind. Area, Chandigarh on 15.05.2019. A case FIR No. 117, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
