One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 20.04.2019.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested under NDPS Act

Crime Branch of Chandigarh Police arrested Kumar Kesi R/o Village- Dulinga, PO- Paphikot, P.S- Mangwa, Distt.- Ruknm, Anchel Rapt, Nepal from near Mullanpur to Khuda Lahora road in front of Botenical Garden, Chandigarh and recovered 18 gram Heroin from his possession on 20.04.2019. A case FIR No. 57, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested for Robbery

          A lady resident of Sector- 38/A, Chandigarh alleged that Akshay R/o # 5328, Sector- 38 West, Chandigarh (age- 28 yrs) robbed gold chain from complainant near Santokh Hospital, Sector- 38/A, Chandigarh and caught on spot on 20.04.2019. Alleged person has been arrested in this case. A case FIR No. 105, U/S 392, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 72, U/S 279, 337, 304/A IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh on the complaint of Arshdeep Singh R/o # 102, Sunny Enclave, Kharar, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab who alleged that driver of unknown car sped away after hitting to platina motor cycle No. PB-19S-2504 driven by Jaspreet Sharma, pillion Rishab and complainant all R/o Sunnu Enclave, Kharar, Distt.- Mohali, Punjab at Sector 14/15, light point, Chandigarh on 19.04.2019. Complainant and his friends namely Jaspreet Sharma and Rishab got injured and were admitted in PGI, Chandigarh where Jaspreet declared brought dead by doctor. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 100, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Vishal R/o # 1039, Ram Gopal Colony, Distt.- Rohtak, Haryana who alleged that driver of car No. CH-01AL-6848 who sped away after hitting to complainant’s motor cycle No. HR-15B-4242 near K.V DAV School, Sector-7, Chandigarh on 12.04.2019. Complainant’s got injured and admitted in GH-16, Hospital, Chandigarh. On the same day he was taken to Novel Heart Hospital, Bypass road Delhi, Distt.- Rohtak, Haryana by his relatives. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 92, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Amit Tiwari R/o # 1078, Sector- 37/B, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of activa scooter No. CH-01BE-8050 namely Paramjit Singh R/o # 123, village- Khuda Jassu, Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s cycle near Sector- 23/36 dividing road, Chandigarh on 20.04.2019. Complainant’s got injured and admitted to PGI, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

         A lady resident of Sector- 10/A, Chandigarh alleged that unknown person occupant of white scooter sped away after snatching complainant’s purse containing cash Rs. 1500/2000, mobile phone and house keys from near kothi No. 3, Sector- 9/A, Chandigarh on 20.04.219. A case FIR No. 130, U/S 356, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 113, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Sushant Nagpal R/o 1322, 1^st floor, Sector- 44, Chandigarh, Owner of Poison club, Sector- 17, Chandigarh who was opening the said club beyond the time limit and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh. Accused arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

Assault

A lady resident of Sector- 29, Chandigarh alleged that Ashu R/o # 20/A, Sector- 29, Chandigarh beaten/threatened complainant near her residence 19.04.2019. A case FIR No. 108, U/S 323, 341, 506 IPC has been registered in PS-Indst. Area, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Jabar Singh R/o # 1660, Deep Complex, Village-Hallomajra, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s pick up jeep No. CH-01GA-6893 from Plot No. 1649, Deep Complex, Village-Hallomajra, Chandigarh on night intervening dated 18/19.04.2019. A case FIR No. 131, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating/forgery

          A case FIR No. 95, U/S 419, 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh against Irshad Ahmed R/o village- Changoo, Tehsil- Dorru, Distt.- Anantnag, Jammu & Kashmir was arrested near Inscol Healing Hospital, Sector- 34, Chandigarh on 20.04.2019. Fake aadhar card and pan card on the name of Ajay but having photo of Irshad Ahmad has been recovered from his possession. Accused person has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
