Bank locker jewellery theft case solved

Purnoor, Chandigarh 13.04.2019 :

            Chandigarh police achieved a major success by nabbing the person namely Ashok Kumar s/o Satpal Gautam r/o # 1602, FF, Sector 4, Panchkula, Hr. age about 50 years and Lalit Soni s/o Dilbag r/o # 97, Gali No. 8 B, Shanti Nagar, MM, Chandigarh age about 20 years and 02 Juveniles who were involved in the bank locker jewellery theft case and vehicle theft cases within very short span.  

                        On 13.03.2019 Smt. Devika Mahajan W/o Dinesh Mahajan R/o H No 142, sec 6 Panchkula, HR made a complaint through public window that on 07-03-2019 at around 11:30 am she went to Bank Of Commerce SCF No. 826, NAC, Manimajra Chandigarh to operate his locker. On 13/3/2019 when she again went to bank to operate her locker then she saw that her one bangle box was not there. She searched here and there but didn’t found the box. She came to know that she forgot her bangle box in the room of locker when she operates last time on 07.03.2019. Some unknown person theft her bangle box from the locker room. Her box contained 6 golden bangles, One diamond Kada, 5 golden kada and one Wahi. After inquiry in this regard case FIR No. 56 dated 12.04.19 u/s 380 added 411 IPC PS-MM, Chandigarh registered against unknown person. After registration the case a special team of PS Mani Majra headed by SI Daljit Singh, along with HC Amarjit Singh 467/CP, Ct. Virender Singh 1880/CP constituted under the supervision of Insp. Ranjit Singh SHO Mani Majra. During the course of investigation secret information received that accused of said case was roaming near Hospital, MM, and try sold the stolen jewellery. On this information on dated 12.04.19 a naka was led near Civil Hospital, MM, Chandigarh accused Ashok Kumar S/o Satpal  Gutam Singh R/o # 1602 1^st floor ,Sec 4 Panchkula, Haryana age 56 yrs has been arrested in above said case near the Civil Hospital MM, Chandigarh and on his discloser all the stolen items has been recovered from the washing machine of his house where he was hidden. It came to light that accused Ashok Kumar is a security person of Bank of Commerce SCF No. 826, NAC, MM, Chandigarh since last 08 months, and he steal all these item from the locker room on 07.03.19.

Total weight about 25 Tola Gold and one diamond kara.
