Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-17 & I.T Park Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 01.04.2019.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Manimajra, Chandigarh reported that his son age about 15 years has been missing from near his residence since 31.03.2019. A case FIR No. 72, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-I.T Park, Chandigarh.  

Cheating

          Vijay K. Pehwa R/o # 410, Sector-30/A, Chandigarh reported that Rs. 2,10,000/- has been fraudulently got transferred in account of one person namely Vikram Singh Account in HDFC Bank, Sector 62, Noida from his current account of Kotak Mahindra Bank, Sector 22, Chandigarh on 01.04.2019. A case FIR No. 42, U/S 419, 420 IPC & 66-D IT Act has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Ram Karan R/o # 63, Type-1, PGI, Sector-12, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Motor cycle No. CH-01AT-9098 while parked in staff parking, PGI, Chandigarh on 01.04.2019. A case FIR No. 61, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Sector-22/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa scooter No. CH-01AD-3580 while parked near her residence on 22.03.2019. A case FIR No. 94, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Deepak Bansal R/o # 1861/1, Village- Burail, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa scooter No. CH-01X-5386 from parking Gurudwara Sahib, Sector-34, Chandigarh on 25.03.2019. A case FIR No. 81, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Arun Kumar R/o # 183, Sector-56, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Motor Cycle No. HP-38C-0841 while parked near his residence on night intervening 31.03/01.04.2019. A case FIR No. 84, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
