Three arrested for consuming liquor at public place
Three different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against three persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 11.03.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.
Fetus found
A case FIR No. 65 U/S 318 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against unknown person who left about 5 months fetus # 1632, Sector-22/B, Chandigarh on 11.03.2019. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Missing/Abduction
A person resident of Village-Faidan, Chandigarh reported that his daughter age about 16 years and one another girl (neighbor) age about 16 years have been missing from their residence since 10.03.2019. A case FIR No. 83, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh.
MV Theft
Gourav Garg R/o # 3287, Sector-46, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Bajaj Pulsar Motor Cycle No. HR-32J-6461 while parked near complainant’s residence on 10.03.2019. A case FIR No. 62, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Sanjeev Kumar R/o # 695/2, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh reported HR-39-5969 while parked near complainant’s residence on 08.03.2019. A case FIR No. 60, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
Accident
A case FIR No. 55, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the statement of a lady R/o # 2343, Sector-23/C, Chandigarh against driver of Fortuner car No. CH-01BM-0012 namely Suresh Kumar R/o # 1376, village-Faidan, Chandigarh who hit to complainant’s (pedestrian) near Sector-23/36 dividing road, Chandigarh on 10.03.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GMSH-16, Chandigarh. Accused person namely Suresh Kumar arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
