Action against Gambling/Satta

Chandigarh Police arrested Naresh Singh R/o Village- Parkhali, Distt.-Ropar, Punjab and Vijay Kumar R/o # 3232, Sector-47/D, Chandigarh while they were gambling from park, Sector-45/C, Chandigarh on 05.03.2019. Total cash Rs. 3,740/- was recovered from them. In this regard, a case FIR No. 56, U/S 13-3-67 Gambling Act has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Later they were released on bail. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Abhishek Saini R/o # 647, Sector-25, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s mobile phone from Leisure valley, Sector-10, Chandigarh on 24.02.2019. A case FIR No. 76, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Aman Sharma R/o Room No. 69, main hostel, PGGC, Sector-11, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Splendor motor cycle No. HR-33D-4106 from parking of PGGC, Sector-11, Chandigarh on 26.02.2019. A lady resident of Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s daughter aged about 17 years has been missing from his resident since 03.03.2019. A case FIR No. 51, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh.Investigation of the case is in progress.

A person resident of Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s daughter aged about 16 years has been missing from near his resident since 18.02.2019. A case FIR No. 40, U/S 363, 366 IPC has been registered in PS-Mouli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Snatching

Arvind Singh R/o # 2510/B, Sector-47/C, Chandigarh alleged that 2 unknown persons occupant of M/Cycle sped away after snatching complainant’s mobile phone from near Sampark Centre, Sector-47, Chandigarh on 05.03.2019. Accident

A case FIR No. 47, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sukhbir Singh R/o Village- Saneta, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab against driver of car No. PB-43C-7434 who sped away after hitting to complainant’s car No. CH-01BV-0001 near Grain Market Chowk, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 05.03.2019. Assault

A case FIR No. 52, U/S 452, 323, 506, 427, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of Santosh Kumar R/o # 887, Janta Colony, Naya Gaon, Punjab who alleged that Vijay Kumar R/o # 112/2, Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh, Rajkumar and Sajad attacked complainant with iron rods and sticks at Nitesh Hotel, Village- Kajheri, Chandigarh on 28.02.2019. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Later on one accused person namely Vijay Kumar R/o # 112/2, Village-Kajheri, Chandigarh has been arrested in this case.
