Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 22.02.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Defacement of Property Act

A case FIR No. 53, U/S 3 Delhi Prevention of Defacement Act 2007 has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh against Satish Kumar R/o # 1701, Sector-22/B, Chandigarh who pasted poster of advertisement of P.G. on wall near # 1685, 1686, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 22.02.2019. Accused arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Sandeep Gupta R/o # 1716/1, Sector-43/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Maruti 800 car No. CH-03-5582 from DAV College, Sector-10, Chandigarh on 22.02.2019. A case FIR No. 56, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Amit R/o # 1231, Phase-V, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s motor cycle No. CH-0AU-8644 while parked near City Emporium, Industrial Area, Phase-1, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 35, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Three arrested with stolen M/Cycle while applying fake numbers

A case FIR No. 43, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh against 1.) Mukesh R/o # 30, Sector-41/D, Chandigarh 2.) Pankaj R/o # 24, Village-Palsora, Chandigarh 3.) Mintu R/o # 2301/1, Village- Palsora, Chandigarh who were arrested at Naka near sector-55/56 dividing road, Chandigarh while they were using fake Registration number (front side CH-01BS-3094 and backside P-38D-2803) on stolen splendor M/Cycle which was stolen by them from near parking lake, Sector-42, Chandigarh. In this regard case FIR No. 50 U/s 379 IPC was registered in PS-36 on the complaint Rajinder R/o Village-Puccatiala, PO-Khandwala, Distt.-Kangra, HP.  

One arrested for Theft

A case FIR No. 55, U/S 379, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh on the complaint of ASI Rajpal, Traffic Staffagainst driver of white swift car No. CH-04K-3185 who broken clamps from his car and took away the car which was clamped by traffic staff for wrong parking near Sindhi Sweets, Sector-8, Chandigarh on 22.02.2019. Later alleged person namely Vishal R/o # 450, Dashmesh Nagar, Zirakpur, Punjab has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.
