One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 12.02.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Two arrested with stolen M/Cycle while applying fake numbers

Chandigarh Police arrested Tirlok Chand R/o # 400/7, Block-E, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi from UID Light Point, Sector-24, Chandigarh while he was using fake Registration number CH-01AT-2525 on stolen bullet M/Cycle. In this regard, a case FIR No. 23, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Attempt to Theft

A case FIR No. 54, U/S 379, 511 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the complaint of Piyush Gupta R/o # 187, NAC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who reported that Jai Parkash R/o # 2059/1, Phase-II, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh tried to steal chair lifter box and juice mixer from complainant’s plot No.719, Phase-II, Industrial Area, Chandigarh on 12.02.2019. Accused person namely Jai Parkash has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

A case FIR No. 32, U/S 147, 148, 149, 324, 452 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of a lady resident of Village-Daria, Chandigarh who alleged that Kavit R/o # 482, Village-Daria, Chandigarh, Mohinder Singh, Dhanjit Singh & 02 ladies beaten and threatened complainant at his residence on 11.02.2019. Complainant’s son namely Deepak got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. All accused person namely Kavit, Mohinder Singh, Dhanjit Singh & 02 ladies have been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Abducted/missing

A lady resident of Sector-17, Distt.-Panchkula, Haryana reported that complainant’s grand-daughter aged about 15 years has been abducted/missing from Railway Colony, Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh since 12.02.2019. A case FIR No. 32, U/S 363, 366 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of Hallomajra, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s daughter aged about 16 years has been abducted/missing from her residence since 11.02.2019. A case FIR No. 55, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Karan R/o # 3891, Sector-25/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s splendor motor cycle No. CH-01AR-5570 from parking, Parade Ground, Sector-17, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 42, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sanjay Kumar R/o # 1595/2, Sector-30/B, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s splendor motor cycle No. CH-01AP-5893 while parked near plot No.458, Phase-II, Industrial Area, Chandigarh on 08.02.2019. A case FIR No. 56, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 43, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the statement of Balkit Singh R/o # 3105, Sector-22/D, Chandigarh  who alleged that driver of car No. PB-10FR-3886 namely Amardeep Soni R/o # 3249/1, Sector-23/D, Chandigarh hit to complainant’s splendor motor cycle No. CH-01AX-5564 at dividing road, Sector 22/23, Chandigarh on 12.02.2019. Complainant’s father namely Jagjit Singh got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh. Accused person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 32, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Sonu R/o # 721/1, Village-Kishangarh, Chandigarh  who alleged that driver of tavera car No. PB-65M-4564 namely Harmesh R/o Village-Gochar, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab hit to auto No. PB-65AH-4621 at TPT Light Point, Chandigarh on 11.02.2019. Driver of auto namely Gurdeep Singh R/o # 2376/1, Mari Wala Town, Manimajra, Chandigarh got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Accused person arrested and bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress
