One arrested for consuming liquor at public place

             One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 11.02.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

One arrested for Theft

Chirag Pahwa R/o # 3265, Sector-45/D, Chandigarh alleged that Sanjay R/o # 2766, Ward No.1, Near Bus Stand, Shastri Mandi Bhuna, Distt.-Fatehabad, Haryana who was caught while he stolen complainant’s motor cycle No. PB-13AG-8163 from near his residence on 10.02.2019. A case FIR No. 48, U/S 379, 34, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Accused person arrested has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Abducted/missing

A lady resident of Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh reported that complainant’s daughter aged about 17 years has been abducted/missing from her residence since 11.02.2019. A case FIR No. 31, U/S 363, 366 IPC has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Charanjit Singh R/o # 2089, Sector-44/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away donation box containing cash Rs. 60/70 thousand from Gurudwara Singh Sabha, Phase-II, Industrial Area, Chandigarh after breaking locks on night intervening 10/11.02.2019. A case FIR No. 53, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress. 

MV Theft

Ajay Bhardwaj R/o # 3091, Sector-41/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s bullet motor cycle No. CH-01BL-5526 while parked near his residence on night intervening 25/26.01.2019. A case FIR No. 29, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
