          One case U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh against one person who was arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 17.01.2019. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Theft

          Naveen Kumar R/o # 1150/A and Tarsem Pal R/o # 1151/A, Sector-19, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stolenaway 01 nokia mobile and cash Rs. 1,000/- from Naveen Kumar residence and 01 gold necklace from Tarsem Pal residence on the night intervening 16/17-01-2019.  A case FIR No. 09, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-19, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

A lady resident of # 3196, Sector-27/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stolen away complainant’s gold Radha Krishan locket, diamond earrings, ear chain, 10-12 silver coins, gold gini, cash Rs. 22,000/- and some documents after breaking locks on 17-01-2019.  A case FIR No. 16, U/S 380 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Inderpal Singh R/o # 3571, Sector-35/D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person who stolen away complainant’s cash Rs. 5,000/- and some documents after breaking locks from complainant’s residence on 17-01-2019.  A case FIR No. 23, U/S 454, 380 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          A girl resident of Sector-19/C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Activa scooter No. CH-01AN-8102 from parking of Nehru Park, Sector-22, Chandigarh on 16.01.2019. A case FIR No. 17, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Rajan R/o # 1451, Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Auto No. PB-65AH-8136 while parked in front of # 1454, Phase-1, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 19, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
