Chandigarh Police arrested Ankit @ lovely R/o # 91, EWS Colony, Village-Dhanas, Chandigarh from backside EWS Colony, village-Dhanas, Chandigarh and recovered one country made pistol and 01 live cartridge from his possession. A case FIR No. 13, U/S 25-54-59 Arms Act has been registered in PS-Sarangpur, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft

Kanhaiya R/o # 2159, Phase-II, Ramdarbar, Chandigarh reported that unknown person broken rear glass of complainant’s Alto car No. CH-01-AG-9780 and stolen away complainant’s bag containing Pen drive, Aadhar Card, D/L and some other documents while parked near his residence on night intervening 13/14.01.2019. A case FIR No. 16, U/S 379, 427 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Theft by Cheating

          Pawan Kumar R/o # 17, Sahapur Colony, Sector-38/A, Chandigarh alleged that unknown person occupant of activa taken complainant’s mobile phone for making call at Sahapur Chowk and sped away alongwith mobile phone by cheating on 15.01.2019. A case FIR No. 13, U/S 420, 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
