Two arrested for consuming liquor at public place

          Two different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC have been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran & PS-34, Chandigarh against two persons who were arrested while consuming liquor at public place on 09.01.2018. This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Action against violation of orders of DM, UT, Chandigarh

A case FIR No. 11, U/S 188 IPC has been registered in PS-IT Park, Chandigarh against Sugram R/o # 784, NIC, Manimajra, Chandigarh who rented out his house without any information to local police and violated the orders U/S 144 Cr.P.C of DM, UT, Chandigarh.

MV Theft

          Nandu Kumar R/o # 3063/1, Sector-47D, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s M/Cycle No. CH01AZ7425 while parked near his house on 04.01.2019. A case FIR No. 12, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

A case FIR No. 12, U/S 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh on the complaint of Sh. Parminder Singh, Assistant District Manager, Home Credit India Finance Ltd. SCO No. 3019-20, 1^st floor, Sector 22D, Chandigarh who reported that complainant’s company is engaged in business of providing loan on consumer durable goods and one customer namely Abhinav Kumar R/o # 212, Ph-9, SAS Nagar, Mohali (PB) visited to dealer Electro Pacific, SCO No. 1024, Sector 22B, Chandigarh and taken loan from complainant’s company against Electronic good (mobile phone) by providing fabricated/manipulated documents. Investigation of the case is in progress.
