One apprehended under NDPS Act

Chandigarh Police arrested Sukhwinder Singh R/o Gali No.32, Jhujhar Nagar, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab near Satsang Bhawan, Village-Maloya, Chandigarh and recovered 24 injections of drugs and 50 gram Charas from his possession on 27-12-2018. A case FIR No. 244, U/S 20, 22 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-Maloya, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 383, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh on the statement of Dalip R/o # 47, Phase-2, BDC, Sector-26, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of Car No. PB-01A-0940 sped away after hitting to complainant’s motor cycle No. HR-03N-2892 near Khalsa College, Sector-26, Chandigarh on 24.12.2018. Complainant got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Cheating

Arun R/o # 218, Sector-18, Panchkula, Haryana alleged that Sajan Sharma R/o # B-10/1347, Adarsh Nagar, Village-Nayagaon, Distt.-Mohali, Punjab cheated complainant for buying his mobile phone at Sukhna Lake, Chandigarh. He given a cheque to complainant but the said cheque was returned unclear by the bank. A case FIR No. 256, U/S 420, 120/B IPC has been registered in PS-03, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Defacement of Property Act

A case FIR No. 360, U/S 3 Delhi Prevention of Defacement of Public Property Act has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh against unknown person who put black paint/color on the sign board of Rajeev Gandhi College Bhawan, Punjab University, Sector-14, Chandigarh on 27.12.2018. Investigation of case is in progress.
