One arrested under NDPS Act  

Operation Cell of Chandigarh Police arrested Anil Kumar R/o # 2661, Sector-27/C, Chandigarh at road backside Police Line, Sector-26, Chandigarh and recovered 10 gram Heroin from his possession on 18-12-2018. A case FIR No. 380, U/S 21 NDPS Act has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

One arrested with stolen car with fake number

Chandigarh Police arrested Paramjit Singh R/o Village- Sekha Mata Distt. Hoshiarpur (PB) age about 50 years, at Naka near Dividing Road Sector-55/56, Chandigarh while he was using fake Registration number PB-10AV-7050 on Honda City carwhich was stolen from Sector 34, Chandigarh and wanted in case FIR No. 385/2018 of PS-34, Chandigarh. In this regard, a case FIR No. 472, U/S 473, 411 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Assault

        Dr. Ajit Singh, Invigilator, PGGC, Sector 11, Chandigarh alleged that 5 unknown persons threatened complainant and attacked with sharp weapon near main gate, PGGC, Sector 11, Chandigarh on 17.12.2018. A case FIR No. 356, U/S 147, 149, 323, 506, 341 IPC has been registered in PS-11, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

          Sh. Raj Kumar R/o # 2298, DMC, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Motor Cycle No. CH-01BD-8614 while parked near dividing road Sector-19/27, Sector-27 side, Chandigarh on 16.12.2018. A case FIR No. 379, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-26, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/Abduction

A person resident of Jagatpura, Distt. Mohali (PB) reported that his daughter age about 15 years has been missing/abducted from near IPS Society, Sector 49, Chandigarh since 07.12.2018. A case FIR No. 221, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-49, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.
