The Passing Out Parade of the 18th & 19th batch

 

Chandigarh 18th December, 2018:

The Passing Out Parade of the 18th & 19th batch of 61 recruit constables (48 Males, 13 Females) was held at the Parade grounds, Police lines, Sector-26, Chandigarh. Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, Director General of Police, U.T. Chandigarh took the salute.

Nilambari Jagadale, IPS, SSP-UT & Training, Chandigarh welcomed Worthy Director General of Police, U.T., Chandigarh and presented a report about the training of recruits. SSP/UT stated that these constables were provided adequate exposure in the fields of Criminal law, Medical Jurisprudence, VIP Security, Human Rights, etc. They have also been imparted training in Mob Control, Weapon handling, Yoga, P.T. and Parade. Special workshops on topics like Cyber Crime, Bank Frauds and Gender sensitization, etc. were also held.  Satish Kumar, DANIPS, Dy.S.P/Lines and Principal, Recruit Training Centre, Chandigarh, administered oath to these young recruits. After passing out, these recruits will undergo a commando training course.

Sanjay Baniwal, IPS, Director General of Police, U.T. Chandigarh, in his official address appreciated the hard work put in by these recruits during their training and given best wishes to the newly recruited constables in Chandigarh Police.

Also, out of these 61 constables, Ct. Naresh Kumar, 6657/IRB, Ct. Shubham, 1372/CP stood All-Round 1st and C. Manjit Singh, 2426/CP, L/C Savita, 1344/CP stood All-Round 2nd in their respective batches.  All Prize winners have been awarded with Trophies by the Chief Guest.
