5 accused of F- Bar Club shooting arresting

Chandigarh Police achieved a major success by arresting the 05 accused who were involved in case of attempt to murder   which occurred at F-BarClub, Sector-26, Chandigarh. The  incident occurred during  the birthday celebrations party of  SehdevSalaria on the intervening night of 19/20-11-2018. In this regard, a case FIR No.357 dated 20-11-2018 U/S 307, 34,506, 201,188 IPC & 25-54-59 Arms act, PS-26, Chandigarh  was registered  and all the accused persons  fled away from the spot after committing the above said crime.

Thereafter, the investigation of above said case was transferred to Crime Branch, Sector-11, Chandigarh for arresting  criminals involved in this case.

Arrest:-       After developing the sources, the joint team of Operations Cell, Sector-26, Chandigarh and Crime Branch Sector-11, Chandigarh, under the close supervision  of Sh. Pawan Kumar, DSP/Crime & Operations arrested all the five Criminals  who were involved in this case namely  RohitBhardwaj @ Rimmy S/o Anil Kumar R/o # 4, Tower No.19, Royal Estate, Zirakpur, Punjab.  CheatanMunjal S/o AshwaniMunjal R/o # 3048, Sector-50/D, Tribune Society, Chandigarh. Rajesh Kumar Paswan S/o Darshan Singh R/o # 214/1, Sector-55, Chandigarh. Arjun Thakur S/o Dilawar Singh R/o # 3385,  Police Society, Sector-51/D, Chandigarh &Rinku S/o MadanLal R/o # 511, DMC, Chandigarh from District-Ropar, Punjab.

Recoveries:-During the course of investigation and interrogation  at the instance of accused Rinku, one .32bore Pistol has been recovered  and on the disclosure statement of accused  ChetanMunjal  one .32 bore pistol along with 02 live cartridges has also been recovered.

Besides this, accused Rinku has following previous cases as under ;-

1. Case FIR No. 208 dated 17.08.2006 U/S 147,148,149,341,323,307 IPC PS-11, Chandigarh.
2. Case FIR No.404 dt. 28.10.2011 U/S 323,342,365,395,,427,452,506,120 B & 25-54-59 Arms Act
3. Case FIR No. 114 dated 05.04.2015 U/S 147,148,149,336 IPC and 25-27-54-59 Arms Act. PS-39, Chandigarh
4. Case FIR No.10 dated 29.01.2016 U/S 452,147,148 IPC, PS-Maloya, Chandigarh

Besides this, accused Rajesh Kumar Paswan S/o Darshan Singh has following previous cases are as under:-

1. Case FIR No. 180 dated 02.05.2011 U/S 323, 506,34 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh
2. CASE FIR No. 213 dated 04.05.13 U/S 147,148,149,323,506,427,324 IPC PS-39, Chandigarh.
3. Case FIR No. 550 dated 11.11.13 U/S 147,148,149,323,427,506 IPC, PS-39, Chandigarh.

Besides this, accused ChetanMunjal has following previous case as under:-

1. Case FIR No. 247 dated 09.12.2011 U/S 147,148,149,324,307, 506 IPC PS-03, Chandigarh

On 30.11.2018, all the above said accused persons were produced in the Hon’ble Court, UT, Chandigarh and their police remand  for four days i.e. up to 03.12.2018 was obtained. The further investigation of the case is in progress.
