One arrested for possessing illegal liquor

Chandigarh Police arrested Pappu Singh R/o # 72, Village Raipur Khurd, Chandigarh near Airport light point while illegally possessing 24 bottles of liquor on 09.11.2018. A case FIR No. 330, U/S 61-1-14 Excise Act has been registered in PS-Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh. Later he bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 329, U/S 279, 337 IPC has been registered in PS-Ind. Area, Chandigarh on the complaint of Paramveer R/o # 1385, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh who alleged that his friend namely Vikash R/o # 1381, Ph-2, Ram Darbar, Chandigarh was driving Activa Scooter No. CH-01BM-9342 in rashly and negligently manner on 09.11.2018. Resultantly, scooter was skid near Sukhna Light point, Ph-1 Ind. Area, Chandigarh. Complainant, scooter driver namely Vikas and pillion rider Ashok & Deepak all got injured and admitted in PGI, Chandigarh.  Investigation of the case is in progress.

A case FIR No. 399, U/S 279, 304A IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the statement of Sandeep Malhotra R/o # 40, Adarsh Nagar, Naya Gaon, Mohali (PB) who alleged that driver of Ritz car No. HR20AF-1237 namely Ajay Kumar R/o Village Dabra, PS-Sadar, Hisar, (HR) hit to M/Cycle No. CH-01AD-8329 near Piccadilly Chowk, Sector 34/35, Chandigarh on 08.11.2018. Driver of M/Cycle namely Aditya Khosla R/o # 522, SBI Colony, Ph-10, Mohali (PB) got injured and admitted in GH-16, Chandigarh, where he expired during treatment. Alleged car driver Ajay Kumar arrested and later bailed out. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Deterred public servant while discharging govt. duty

A case FIR No. 399, U/S 332, 353, 506, 34 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh on the complaint of HC Kadam Chand, In-charge, PCR Vehicle who alleged that Gagandeep Singh R/o # 3215, Sector-44, Chandigarh and 3 others deterred, manhandled and torn uniform of complainant while performing govt. duty at Lotus Society, Sector 44, Chandigarh on night intervening 08/09.11.2018. Gagandeep Singh has been arrested in this case. Investigation of the case is in progress.

MV Theft

Sh. Sunil Gupta R/o # 2001/20 Sector 32C, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Honda City car No. CH04-7154 while parked near St. Annie’s School, Sector 32, Chandigarh on night intervening 05/06-11-2018. A case FIR No. 400, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-34, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Sh. Sunil Kumar R/o # 165/2, Sector 41D, Village Badheri, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away complainant’s Splender M/Cycle No. CH01BM-8131 while parked near Market, Sector 41D, Chandigarh. A case FIR No. 432, U/S 379 IPC has been registered in PS-39, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Missing/abducted

A case FIR No. 400, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-36, Chandigarh on the complaint of a person resident of Village-Kajheri, Sector 52, Chandigarh who reported that his son age about 16 years has been missing from Village Kajheri since 08.11.2018. Investigation of the case is in progress.
