 Special drive against consuming liquor at public place was carried out at different parts of the city in which total 03 cases U/S 68-1 (B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC got registered.

 In continuation of a special drive against consuming liquor at public place, yesterday, the drive was carried out at different parts of the city. Under this drive total 03 different cases U/S 68-1(B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 IPC got registered in different police stations of Chandigarh in which total 03 persons were arrested while consuming liquor at public place. All later on bailed out. The detail of police Stations in which cases U/S 68-1 (B) Punjab Police Act 2007 & 510 got registered:-  PS-I.T. Park= 2 cases, PS-Maulijagran= 1 case.

This drive will be continuing in future, the general public is requested for not breaking the law.

Missing/abducted

A case FIR No. 212, U/S 363 IPC has been registered in PS-3, Chandigarh on the complaint of a person resident of Village-Kaimbwala, Chandigarh who reported that his daughter age about 14 years have been missing from his house since 03.11.2018. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Burglary

Sh. Gurjinder Singh Moad R/o # 315, Sector-22/A, Chandigarh reported that unknown person stolen away 1 silver coin, 2 watch, 1 camera and 2 silver plates from his residence on dated 04.11.2018. A case FIR No. 345, U/S 380, 457 IPC has been registered in PS-17, Chandigarh. Investigation of the case is in progress.

Accident

A case FIR No. 418, U/S 279 IPC has been registered in PS-31, Chandigarh on the statement of Satnam Singh R/o # 310, Village-Behlana, Chandigarh who alleged that driver of car No. HR-51BE-0196 hit to complainant’s car No. PB-01B-4351 at Airport Light Point, Chandigarh on 04.11.2018. Driver of car namely Satin R/o # 196, Distt.-Faridabad, Haryana arrested and later bail out. Investigation of the case is in progress.
