The CBI nabbed an accused from Bangkok in Thailand

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) nabbed an accused, wanted in Jalandhar Tiffin Car Bomb Blast case. from Bangkok in Thailand.

Reportedly, the accused Palvinder Singh alias Dimple is being interrogated for his alleged role in the bomb blast incident which had taken place in December 2015. Although there is no official confirmation from the agency but sources told babushahi.com that Palvinder Singh was brought to India last week.

It was alleged that Palvinder Singh, a follower of Namdhari Sect fled to Thailand after he was named in the list of the accused of Car bomb blast at village Dugri under Maqsooda police station of Jalandhar. The Challan presented by the Jalandhar Rural police had revealed that Palvinder Singh was one of the conspirators who hatched the plan to attack the spiritual head of the Namdhari Sect, Satguru Uday Singh in Jalandhar on December 25, 2015.

It was alleged that one of the car bombs, which exploded on December 5, 2015, was handed over to the killed person, Ajay Sharma, by Palvinder Singh. The Police had arrested 3 accused in the case. One of the accused Jagmohan told the police that one of the three bombs went off in the Maruti Swift Dezire Car claiming Ajay’s life while two others were thrown into the Pond.

This car bomb blast case along with two other murder cases related to Namdhari sect were handed over to CBI by the previous Badal Government on September 11, 2016.One was the murder of Mata Chand Kaur and the other was murder of Namdhari follower Avtar Singh Tari.
